You can help a man rebuild his life when you donate by June 30, 2021 (learn more below)

We never say, “No,” so I need you to say “Yes”

When Jason knocked on our door asking for help, we did exactly what you would want us to do – we welcomed him to Beacon House.

We didn’t ask for his insurance card.

We didn’t ask him, “How much can you pay?”

And we didn’t ask, “Can your family pay?”

We said, “You’re welcomed here. You have found hope and you have found a second chance.”

And now, I need your help, once again. Due to the lingering crisis of COVID-19, our new man program doubled.

More addiction, more drugs, more alcoholism.

Instead of 12 men, we have 27 new men being treated in our Lighthouse Building.

27 men who would be sleeping on the streets or back in jail.

27 men still addicted to heroin or living simply for the next fix.

You can help feed and shelter a man like Jason who spent eight years on the streets. You can provide a man with the best counseling and treatment possible.

Because we did exactly what you would want us to do, we have a $75,000 operating shortfall this fiscal year.

I know I can count on you.

With your help, I can continue to bring men in, move them on to our long-term program, and give a man a new life, a second chance, and give him back his family.

I’m asking you, please, give a man a night, a week, maybe even a month if you can.

One night cost $49 to not only feed and shelter a man but to give him the treatment and care he deserves.

A week is $343 and if you can a month is $1,470. That would be amazing.

You can give a man that second chance. No man is asked to pay. No family needs to carry that financial burden.

No man who is willing to change his life should continue to suffer, to be homeless, or be a slave to alcohol or drugs.

Whatever you give will help a man rebuild his life.

With my deepest gratitude and humility,

Mitch Harmatz
Executive Director, The Beacon House

P.S. Every dollar you give will feed and shelter a man so that he no longer will go to sleep in fear for his life.
